What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique use to reduce stress and promote
healing by removing energetic blocks that can lead to tension and illness in the body. It is a spiritually guided life
force energy which flows through all of us, and when balanced, leads to good health and overall well being.
What is a Reiki Session?
A Reiki session is genrally done with the client, fully clothed, either lying on
a Reiki table or sitting in a chair. The Reiki practioner lightly lays hands on or slightly above the client in
a series of different hand positions. A discussion of what to expect is usually done before the session.
What are the side effects
of Recieving Reiki?
As
Reiki flows through the body, the client may experience different physical sensations, such as heat or cold or tingling in
the area of the practitioner's hands, or nothing at all. It is not unusual at the end of the session, to feel deeply
calm and relaxed.
